Sebastian was traveling back home from his weekend in the city when suddenly an obnoxious voice broke through the plain's silence. "No one can beat me! I'm the fastest pokemon around! Come on!" Sebby turned and spotted the source of the voice, a shiny ponyta with a beautiful blue mane. "Hey you! You think you're better than me? Well how about we settle it with a race." The buziel raised a brow at the ponyta, "You've got to be kidding me..." The ponyta snorted and stamped his hooves, "Beat me and I'll give you a prize~ I highly doubt you'll win though!" Being a water pokemon Sebastian was at a complete disadvantage, but he wasn't one to back down from a challenge, "Alight... You're on!" As they stood at the starting area, a small glint caught Sebastian's eye, 'A quick claw... So we have a cheater on our hands, well two can play this game~' The ponyta said go and Sebastian went. The horse pokemon was obviously quicker, but not smarter. Sebby went to the side and darted back, quickly weaving in and out of his opponents legs, "HEY! WHAT ARE YOU-" With that statement, the shiny pokemon lost his balance and collapsed on the ground. This gave Sebastian enough time to finish out and win the race. After crossing the finish line, Sebastian quickly circled back to the fallen fire type, "You okay?" The ponyta snorted and nodded, shakily getting to his feet, "Yea I'm good..." After a moment of silence the ponyta hung his head, "I cheated and lost.." Sebastian smirked and gently patted the pokemon, "Hey its okay, always fight fair and then at least you have no shame in losing~" The ponyta smile and gently nuzzled Sebby, letting the Quick Claw slide from around his leg and land on Sebastian, "Thank you, take this as my gift to you~" The ponyta turned and began to walk away and Sebastian remembered something, "WAIT!" The shiny pokemon turned his head back, looking at the water type. Sebby smiled and put the quick claw around his paw "What's your name?" The horse pokemon smiled, "Blaze.. Blaze Ponyta~" With that the shiny took off across the plain, and disappearing over the horizon. Sebastian chuckled slightly, pawing at the new bracelet, "Good luck Blaze~"
